On Tuesday, October 13th, several Omaha restaurants will be participating in the "2009 Dine Out Against Hunger." Ten percent of their days proceeds will be donated to the Omaha Food Bank. The Food Bank works to alleviate hunger in the Omaha area. Dining out at one of the participating restaurants is an easy way for you to get involved in our community, while helping to feed our area's men, women and children who face hunger on a daily basis. The Food Bank will distribute between 5 and 7 million pounds of food this year alone. Direct contributions can also be made through the Omaha Food Bank website.
